Research demonstrates that more than half of the achievement gap among youth can be explained by unequal access to summer learning. Help us close this gap! This gift also qualifies you as a member of the Don Baker Circle for Youth, Y.O.U.’s giving society named in honor of our Founding Executive Director.

Your gift of $500 allows us to provide one youth with mental health support. This support is critical to youth wellness. Youth with unaddressed mental health problems have higher incidence of depression and significantly lower educational achievement. Support us so that we can support the needs of our youth!

Your gift of $250 allows us to send a group of 25 youth on an experiential learning field trip where they learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) through hands-on exploration. Help us to give our youth a panoramic glimpse into the STEAM fields!

Your gift of $100 allows us to provide an additional week of afterschool enrichment to a youth, helping that child grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Statistically, the hours from 3 to 6 p.m. are the most dangerous hours in the lives of teens. Help us transform these hours into the most empowering hours by surrounding youth with caring adults and experiential learning.

Your gift of $50 allows us to purchase art supplies for one six-week experiential visual arts experience. Youth explore sculpture, painting and collage utilizing found, recycled and purchased materials.
