Concepcion (Coni) Benitez serves as Y.O.U.'s Youth and Family Counselor.

Coni_Benitez.jpgConi was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the Chicago suburbs at the young age of 11. In 2009 she earned her BA in Psychology from Loyola University. Coni first joined Y.O.U. in 2007 as a work study staff and in 2010 she was hired as a Case Manager for the organization. Coni left in 2013 to pursue her master’s degree in International Counseling Psychology from Alliant International University in Mexico City.

She is very excited to now be back at Y.O.U. and work with the population that inspired her to pursue graduate studies in the first place. Coni has a passion for working with under-served populations using a systemic approach. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, spending time with family and friends, getting lost in the Marvel universe and learning random trivia.
