Annasha serves as a Y.O.U.th Serve Member at Washington Elementary School.
Annasha was born and raised on the southside of Chicago. She began her studies at Eastern Illinois University where she was an active member of multiple RSO organizations on campus while earning her B.A. in Biological Sciences in 2016. Annasha is currently pursuing her M.S. in Biological Sciences to further her promising career as a veterinarian. She first began her Y.O.U. journey in 2019 as a youth worker and continued her work as an AmeriCorps member with the 2019 - 2020 cohort. In her spare time you can find her anywhere that has to do with being active whether it's dancing, playing, or watching sports...especially football. She has a strong passion and drive to work with youth and making sure they’re being the best version of themselves as they can truly be.
