Chanquel serves as the Senior Afterschool Program Manager for Elementary School Programs.
Chanquel’s undying passion for working with youth led her to pursue a BSW in Social Work from Western Illinois University with a minor in Forensic Psychology. She now attends Loyola University where she is pursuing her MSW with a concentration in non-profit and school social work. Chanquel’s experience working with youth includes interning with the Department of Children and Family Services, working as a residential and day camp Girl Scout counselor, volunteering as a college core member for three high school Pay It Forward tours with an organization called Students Today Leaders Forever, and leading a high school leadership camp.
Chanquel continues to work with youth because nothing feels better to her than knowing she made an impact on someone's life for the better. She loves working with Y.O.U. because it allows her to put her professional skills to the test and allows her to devote her time and heart to making a difference in our communities.
